Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey
Very Impressed

Well the one year ownership of the car is approaching and i must admit this is the longest i have kept a car.

I have never MOT'd a car before and was a bit apprehensive at first, i really don't know why as i always look after my cars. Anyway the car went in for it's MOT around 3 weeks early as it suited me to have it done whilst away and it still preserved the aniversary date. Passed with only needing a Number plate bulb!

I had 4 new tyres fitted also, as i found the outer edges starting to wear and i didn't particularly care for teh budget brand that were on the wheels when i bought them.

I have been toying with the idea of a new car and to be honest this is the first time i have been at a stage where i really DO NOT want to seel the car. I cannot find anything else i would rather have (other than a new model sport)

I have now decided to keep the car and buy a fun car to accompany her.

All in all i am over the moon with my first year of ownership, the oustanding service i have had from Bryan at Town & County has by no mistake enhanced the experience no end.

Here's to another year of happy motoring in the sport Thumbs Up

Chris, i'm in a similar situation to you, i can't fault my motor either, but i can't help thinking about getting a new 2012 model, i don't need one but..... i almost bought an impreza P1 the other week just as a toy, ive had two before, well it was the same one Shocked i bought it back off the guy i sold it to Confused but i then asked myself would i use it? And the answer is no, so i mapped my motor back to standard for a few days tootled around and now have put the modifed map back on and its like a new car again, the difference is miles apart, so thats got the new car replacement out of my system for now anyway Laughing

I came out of mine after 3 years ownership. First time I have had to MOT a ca in a long while. Couple of things went wrong out of warranty. EGR valves and radio and cd stopped working ( although it fixed itself) and it just scared me a little. Def going back into a 2012 or an evoque this year, as I miss the brand

Similar to you Guys, I've had mine from new 2006 and shes never put a foot wrong, even when I've abused her off road, I was due to replace her in 2008 but my business went down the pan along with the country so put it on hold, thing is now I'm loathed to upgrade as she has been soo reliable, best car I have ever had and I've had a few incl 9 LR's!

Hi Ady 555
Please tell, what/who's map did you have and how much of a difference had it made? I ask as I have heard that certain maps bring the 2.7 very close to an 3.0. Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Agree Thumbs Up
It made a huge difference to my 2.7 when I had it. Mine was done by the LR Dealer
prior to delivery. But, remember to inform your insurers otherwise they could void your policy in the event of a claim. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

I agree with you completely, But, I wouldn't want them to have the legal wriggle room to get out of paying up in the event of a claim. Especially on such a high value vehicle. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
