Yeah, I even asked that question a while back. Yours is the way they come now, red on black with no supercharged logo. People said that according to Land Rover, the red on black makes it look more unique which isn't the case since the Supercharged RR has the white and black (as well as teh base RRS) and the basic LR3 has the ones we have. I feel your pain becasue I really would have liked the dash in the test photos better. On a side note, I like you're 8.3 average fuel economy! That makes me proud RRS S/C Special Edition, Vesuvius |

No, we're not like the rest of Europe - we're still imperial (i.e. miles) when it comes to roads - well were actually somewhere in the middle. We use imperial for some things and metric for others. We are now used to buying our fuel in litres (gallon pricing went years ago), but work out how economical a car is in mile per gallon, not miles per litre. Matt ------------------------------------------- RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance! |

I think we as a nation like to sit on the fence when it comes to Imperial or Metric... have you also noticed how us Brits tend to be picky when it comes to mentioning temperature too? We'll talk about hot temps in F (e.g. "phew, it's 90 degrees today!") but then we'll talk about cold temps in C (e.g. "brrrr, it was -5 this morning!").... yes, we're a quaint bunch.

The cars in the brochures were also all pre-production models..... and LR have a disclaimer about specs differing from actual specs in tiny print in every catalogue.

Shame it doesn't say S/C with those extra chrome bits on the dash like in the pre-launch pics.

I am not sure from personal experience yet as I am still treating her nicely, as I am just approaching 2000 miles, I'll be opening the taps a bit further soon. L319 D4 HSE
