My fridge doesn't work

The light comes on at the switch and I can here the fan going but it's not getting could!

Help any ideas

same on mine too light goes blue ,fan noise , same temp , glad im not just the only one

maybe someone has found out the awnser?

Couldnt believe it the other day when I got a hot drink out!

same here, very little tech advice about, me thinks most people just send them in to be fixed

SOMEONE MUST KNOW ?

Having looked at a picture of one it appears to be a seperate unit from that of the AC system. Do you have the fridge out at the minute?

Just read the link but unless I'm missing something I can't see what the problem is or a solution

Chris- it's not out at the moment but will be stripping it in the next couple of days to have a look.

I've had my RRS now for 9 months and this thread has reminded me I have never tried the fridge. Must go fro a run tomorrow with a warm can of coke in the fridge and see what the result is.

Right having read the link Bobby provided, i'm thinking the most likely problem is a break in the electrical connections of the elements (so to speak), this would explain why the fan would run but no cooling being produced.

I cannot see any mention of control for switching between cooling and heat but given that the application is solely for cooling i don't imagine there being a need for it.

I suggest removing the fridge and testing the points with a meter for continuity and or resistance

Don't put a warm can in, put a cold one in. It keeps things that are cold, cold....it won't chill things that aren't cold. It works better with things that are cold already......

So its a cooler ? my fridge at home makes stuff cold, maybe LR should call it a cool box

Mine is used for spare change, there are enough shops about to buy cold stuff, and its usually cold here in the UK anyway.

I would suggest that if only your fridge is not working, praise the lord I have had mine (55 plate, well looked after by main stealers) 2 weeks and if anything else falls off or goes wrong, I think i will be left with a battery (probably flat) on the drive...............

LR do now call it a centre cooler box

Even in 2005 it was called the "Cool Box"  Malaysia Boleh!

There is nothing worse, especially on a hot day!!!  Instructions are just the manufacturers opinion
