Even if you have that repaired, i think you will keep looking at it and know its there, it will pi55 you off no end, i can't see that being a repair because of where it is.

Never had a chip that big, that's been repaired and not been noticeable after repair, especially as it's in your direct line of sight.

I'd get the screen changed Whistle or it'll be an annoying mark on the screen till you sell it Big Cry

Even if Autoglass do a bonding repair you will always see it as the view out gets distorted. Also with a chip that big you could have damaged the front heated screen elements which for the winter could lead to a full crack even after the repair - I think a whole new screen would be the preferred option. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
