Yes but you are in the North East Whistle

How old are you?

In your 20's not too bad

In your 40's....bit of a rip off

Yes in my 20's 22 exactly but insurance is actually in my mums name with me and my mrs as named drivers.

I dont have any no claims either as I lived in Dubai for 3 years.

And I live in a nice part of the north east no riots there yet lol, would much rather be there than where I am at the moment.

I completely respect the age thing but my god I am only 3 years older than you as a named driver and its 450.00 for me just doesnt make sense!!

I think its because I have 0 no claims only moved back to the uk in January this year.

Chris : I wish I was 17

No Im 31 and live in a nice area. I have no pints on my license and have not been involved where I have had to claim on my insurance.

I have insured my 11 plate sport that was 60k new in March with Business use on it and there are no mods to engine etc. I have full no claims too.

I tried a few companies and they were all more expensive ! ! I just dont understand it either. My FFRR was only £1200!

I got mine from Go Compare - One Quote Direct. Interestingly enough the big adverts for a free Meerkat must be costing a fortune, the exact same policy from the exact same company was £40 more on Comparet The Market - SHAME ON YOU ALEXANDER!!

Hi Foxy

That seems ridiculously high, I'm with NFU & paid just under £600 this year on a new 3.0d hse. Agreed I am 41, wife is 38, with no points or accidents & full no claims. We took business use off this year, but even with that one it was only about £100 more.

Which branch do u use, I found we had to push them a bit to get a better deal - after getting loads of cheaper quotes on the comparison sites. I'm with the Lincoln branch if that helps.

Cheers
Steve
