Morning all - I am about to order the new MY12 RRS and had my mind set on the new Indus Silver - problem is I haven't seen it in the flesh - anyone got / had sight of it ? I am having a wobble on colour choice at the last minute - I am in Santorini at the mo so really don't want another black .....

I saw the indus silver at one of the live events. I really love silver and the variations that LR bring out. However, Indus Silver, its a little on the "hmmm" cant make up my mind.

I think silver is the worst colour for the RRS. As common as black is, it's still the best choice. I like Nara bronze, but resale would be tough, so that leaves Fuji or Stornoway, which may have changed name now.....

I just love silver especially my colour ! But then again I am bias.
Yeah black looks good, for about 5 minutes after its clean. 

On balance having had both although I absolutely love my Santorini when it has been polished my Stornoway was much more practical and if I was having another that's what I would have next time. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

My first was silver and I think it looks very good - just unsure with this being a new colour and not yet seen in the flesh....... Hmmm

I think the fact that I have black addresses that colour, I cannot go for the same again, none of the others really stand out for me but it is difficult without seeing it .....

I'm another silver lover............ Every D2,D3 and now the sport have been Zambezi or Zermatt. Black RRS's are like XR3's used to be years ago................No offence intended !  08 2.7 RRS "S"

When we came to look black and white were real no go's - we live in a rural area and for me black and particularly white RRS just don't look right at the local highland games or similar.

as we had Zermatt on D3 we wanted to get something different ... and thought we'd go stornoway (My initial preference ) or buck blue until the dealer sent through a set of photos of his Zermatt RRS and we were just sold... have to say it is a colour that really suits MY10+ RRS... and you don't see that many in silver ( 55-58 but a lot less MY10s)

had an interesting chat with the dealer regarding cars they pick for the showroom they rarely buy dark-dark
(i.e. Buck Blue-Eboy) and they very rarely spec walnut.


In the end of the day get what you fancy .. have seen Indus silver once on an Evoque and i quite liked it .. but it was not a million miles from Zermatt. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

almost went for something similar but SWMBO told me it needed to be black laquer ... and said nicht to privacy

Go Fuji with Ebony/Anigre Had a Zermatt before the Fuji, and to be honest i am surprised how much i think the fuji looks so much better I think its the white/black contrast that makes the Fuji stand out for me, and possibly because in Australia there is more sunshine which makes white more appealing  Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Really do not like the RRS in silver. Fuji 1st , then santorini. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

See if you can have a look at all the colours available then make your mind up, you never know you might end up getting one you hadn't even considered.
