Well, about 3 weeks ago I bought a RRS TDV8 with 29k from a main dealer. The front suspension knock became apparent after a week. Then some odd popping noises commenced 10 days ago from the rear of the car at very low speed. Then a banging (separate from the front suspension knock) became apparent from under the car accompanied now by creaking as I turn into the drive. It's the worst car I have ever had (apart from the engine). I nearly called out LR Assist today...It's being collected by the dealer on Monday - not originally for these issues - but for it to have an early MOT.However, the issues have since been raised. I hope it can all get sorted, but if not, it's pretty close to being undriveable!

The banging could be the park brake,mine did the same a couple of weeks ago but was sorted under warranty.

Well I'm looking forward to the Freelander loan car arriving tomorrow!! The suspension creaks regularly now (it's like being on an old school bus). Front suspension knocks on pot holes and ramps, odd popping and banging noises front and rear. Dear God, this is nicht gut! I used to have a D3 which was wonderful.... Unless this is sorted then I'm going to knock it back and get a D4 which I drove last week on a LRE course.
