Sound advice Ady - we claimed for an engagement ring my wife genuinely lost and the ins company sent round a 'loss adjuster'. He turned out to be a south african ex-police officer. Really nice bloke - hard as nails and he told us he was employed for to his ability to spot a liar!! Obviously they paid us out in full. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I'm stuck with mine at over £800 because I made 5 silly claims in the past 5 years for small amounts of money, lost 2 wedding rings in quick succession weeks after my wife buying them, only claimed for the second one which was half the price of the 1st one and after taking the excess of only got £150 that is now costing me about £300/year in higher insurance costs MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Pays to make sure you have all risks, we had a similar problem when my wife went to the pub years ago to watch Scotland play brazil in the world cup ( yes it was that long ago!!) she thinks she took her engagement ring off to wash her hands and it went down plughole! The insurance surprisingly paid out on that one! MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG |
