Strobe effect on motorway signs with lights on

Coming home tonight every road sign was strobing with my lights?

Now I know the adaptives can shake but this seamed excessive, I was doing slightly more than the limit though..

Anyone else's do this? RRS gone

Well more than the limit but not more than a ton.

I checked the tightness of the units when I got back and they are both rock solid RRS gone

perhaps your rrs was in party mode, its the opposite to limp home mode. Wink Smile

Its the new type of speed camera that causes your headlights to look as though they are strobing, its to counteract the affect your headlights have on the radar at night Laughing Thumbs Up

Think I've worked out a possible cause Wink

I've had a slight wheel vibration at 48mph since the new tyres were fitted. I've never bothered to take it back to get it removed because it only happens at that precise speed.. anyway... I'm thinking this vibration "may" be coming back in at 90mph'ish and causing the adaptives to shimmer/strobe.... so I'm taking it back to tyre centre this morning. RRS gone

I,ve noticed this or something similar. Ganty signs seem to flash as i go through them, and no before you all reply, I havent hsd any speeding tickets through the post

My previous tdiv8 used to do the same, I just thought it was the nature of the adaptive Xenons 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack
