the wifes mini was needing replaced, and a combination of holidaying in italy and seeing a few of these running around meant she wanted one.

I like it alot. The turbo kicks in about 3000rpm and the engine is very hapy to have its nuts revved off constantly.

As bradders says, quality inside is not same as BMW built mini, and the bodywork is a bit more tinny. you sit on the floor on the mini which makes it feel more like a go cart, the mrs wanted a change but still something quirky ( I had found a nice deal on a convertible , but that didn't sway her, so plumped with the fiat.) I read a review that said all the range was £3k less than the comparible mini, can't help thinking they should have spent another thousand on the interior! It is smoother to drive than the mini, and ours has bags of power! All in all it is a great car for the money, and I think it looks better than the new mini, which looks awful compared to the 5 year old one we had.
