Fake Police Motorbike

Driving a little too quickly along the motorway yesterday I slowed down as I saw a police bike..........or I thought it was until I got closer and it didn't say police on it!! Also he was kind of parading around like a policeman, driving next to cars, looking at the drivers, like he was enjoying people thinking he was a copper.

This must be illegal or is it just a hi-viz motorbike??

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Alaska White

There is a guy here in Aberdeen does the same with his car, has one of those white vauxhall senator or something, has the reflective chevron on the back and side, even has the bright reflective jacket lying across the parcel shelf and an old navy officers hat lying next to it. He must be a security guard or something who failed the police entrance exam because he wears on of this white shirts with the black flashes on the lapels. And yes it is very very sad. Most people just look and laugh at him as they drive by Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

Someone should just report his reg to the Police as one of "their" bike cops driving eraticaly and causing them to take avoiding action. They'll need to look into it and if nothing else it'll casue the pratt a bit of hassle with old bill Whistle 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Certainly not illegal (Ex traffic cop here)

If it had any reference to an emergency service then fair game but hi viz on a bike is ok.

Is it not something to do with traffic monitoring, i know that around our local area there is a guy on a bike exactly the same as that, he rides around monitoring traffic and reports back to the local radio etc and allows update of TMS ....... or more than likely just a loser lol

Theres a few like this idiot in the North West, flying round on Bikes with Illumious stripes on the front etc, wearing hi viz jackets and white helmets, its very sad!! Just like the idiots in volvos who drive in the first lane with Hi Viz jackets across the back shelf, thinking & acting they're plod. Censored

Amazing how some people get their kicks!! Neutral
