Windows 7 Phone

Anyone tried using a Windows 7 Phone with the USB media hub in the 2011MY Sport, and if so, did you get it to work? Also tried an Android phone and that doesn't play music - the only one that does is my old Windows Mobile 6.5 device. 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE

Thanks for that. I assume then that if I had an iPhone, and it was connected via the iPod lead, it would not only be capable of playing music but also working with the bluetooth at the same time? 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE

Yes but why anyone would want an iphone! cable for ipod is only for that function on an iphone

There are ways to make the USB function work - its about how the device reports its self and the file structure eg just a mass storage device works.

I like having my music collection seperate to the phone and ready to go anyway Mike

My new android phone took a few minutes (days) to get used to...but its better than the iphone in every way.

As for connecting it does it via bluetooth fine every trip, so that works Mike
