rrsboy - is this not because the sport has a viscous fan ( driven by a belt) therefore it cannot run on after the engine is stopped? You need electric fans to be able to do that...

I am sure I have seen something somewhere about converting the set up to an electric fan, seems that most people have this idea for reasons of efficiency - you don't need to waste energy from the engine by driving that big fan all the time.
