Another Suspension Problem! Vibration when accelerating

Hi guys

Bought my first Range Rover Sport and am very happy with the car, People watch and work colleagues love it...However I have noticed that the car is slightly lower on the left rear side by about 1- 1 1/2 inches.

The suspension rises and lowers, and stays at its correct height when set. but it just seems slightly lower on the left rear. it is hard to notice...

Also I get a slight vibration when accelerating between 50-70mph.. The vibration is only in the steering wheel and vibrates about 1/2cm to 1cm

Along with this when heading straight the car goes slightly to the left (very slightly)

I am going to get the tracking and wheel alignment hoping to sort that issue but want to sort the suspension issue first so it doesnt lead to other problems

Was just wondering if anyone has seen this and can recommend anything before I take it back to get sorted?

Your help is deeply appreciated

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

There was a TSB issued in 2007 concerning "steering wheel vibrates in a side-to-side motion or 'shimmy' at 50-70 mph, more noticeably when 20" alloys are installed".

The affected RRS were VIN Range: 5A900018 onwards.

One major reason was "flat spots". Check if this not the cause.

Since you just bought the vehicle, find out if anything was done to your RRS regarding the above TSB. Malaysia Boleh!

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Zambezi Silver

LR did have a time when cars where coming off the line with the geometry all over the place, my last D3's rear camber was about 6 degrees out, which I only discovered AFTER it had killed a new rear tyre in 3000 miles !!! and of course geometry & tracking are fair wear and tear
