Came across my first REAL Evoque, Sun afternoon just before seeing Top Gear.

Have not been that fussed before seeing it in the flesh and still not.

Side by side with a Freelander left me wondering how much longer the Freelander will continue

The interior is probably what the Freelander should of had considering its premium price in the first place, but with its looks more appealing, better finsh same size and pricing more or less the same who will be left wanting the Freelander Question

People who cant quite stump up the extra £5k starting price I would imagine, plus someone who would rather a more rough and tumble approach to motoring, lets face it 99% of Evoque owners won't/don't venture beyond the urban sprawl of the cities, let alone put a slightly muddy welly boot in the back of it..........additionally the towing brigade also seem to like the F2......LR's BIGGEST seller.

An Evoque towing a pikey house would be a crime to eyes Exclamation Crying or Very sad L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

What is the Evoque towing figures? I expect it's going to be less than the 2000kg the FL2 has

Maybe it will suit a trailer tent more than a caravan, with it's sloping roof it may blend in seamlessly Laughing

I wasn't enamoured by it in the first place and TG's reveiw hasn't made me grow any fonder of it. I'm not going to run to the nearest dealer tomorrow to order one at least. I think I'd rather be seen driving a FL2 anyway, leave the Evoque to the women who look as though their mother mated with a wotsit.

When they've over done the fake tan. Look at Katie Price for reference.
