Has anyone turned off the feature that stops DVD in motion

Has anyone managed to turn off the safety feature to enable a front seat passenger to view a DVD or tv! This means disabling the in motion feature, any idea how to do this? RRS

Unless the screen is out of the drivers view it is totally illegal. Enabling video-in motion for the front screen is the most stupid modification ever invented, don't even think of doing it.

What would The alternative be? I just fail to see the point of a tv/DVD if the front passenger can't view it in motion??? RRS

The alternative is to buy a FFRR with Touch-Screen with Dual View technology.

You of course being the driver would never look at the TV while driving, yea right!

The point is it keeps other road users safe from idiots watching TV while driving.

I understand that I would not be watching tv while driving, my point is for front seat passengers. It seems that there is no alternative other than buying the vogue RRS
