Im wondering if i need an entire new unit - its had the odd crash today i had to properly stop the car get out leave it and restart - only does it every so often but when it freezes it freezes (well doent play anything audio wise) Mike

luckily it will be under warranty, not that land rover technicians know a lot.

Possibly will need a software update? This could also improve the reception issues?

its a 2011 vehicle so the software will be up to date..

It's an electrical item in a land rover product - reinstalling the software cannot make it worse Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

If the software has some kind of corruption in it then re-flashing the unit should improve it. I have a new iPad and have had to do a software restore to resolve an issue with the unit 'hanging' when shutting down. Works flawlessly now.

Reflash
Replace Mike
