United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Nara Bronze
Discovery 4 courtesy car

Car in the garage today for a pre planned visit, I have been left with a brand new Disco4 while mine is away. When I got rid of my D3 I was tossing up between the D4 and RR Sport, I am so glad I went for the Sport!

After a day of driving the D4 I just cant help but feel that the RR Sport is a much much nicer vehicle, and mine is the old 2008 interior, in fact I got to say that the D3 I had was a nicer more comfortable car.

The leather on the seats seems like an imitation leather in the D4, it is a lot softer in the Sport, the dashboard just seems to plastic looking and the wood trim seems to look like the sticky imitation stuff that I used to stick on the covers of my exercise books at school.

The engine seems a bit slower to pick up and is louder, the auto change is not as smooth and the brakes no where near as good. It also seems to lean a lot more in the corners as well.

So glad I switched to a RR Sport rather than a D4 Thumbs Up 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography

United Arab Emirates 2008 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Alaska White

The Sport is definatly a 'Sports Tourer' kind of vehicle when compared to the Discoveries. Handling is much flatter and I feel more confidant in the cars high speed cornering capabilities.
The Sport also portrays a different image over the Disco's....but the Disco could be clased as a better off roader straight out of the showroom because of a wider range of tire choices.

I still prefer the Sport over any of the other SUV's in it's class...even the Mercs' Audi's, Beemers and Porche's. Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.
Ford F350 Super Duty Prototype.
