What type of scratches? Just very fine ones, orones that can be caught with a fingernail? And where are the scratches? |

There is the clear wrap type protection or Look at Carpro CQuartz treatment which is dine once the paint is polished and corrected it's a hard finish in laymens terms which give a greater scratch protection |

Pinks I agree, but that's the reason why I asked where they are appearing, as traditionally it's really for front bumper, bonnet and wing mirrors.... |

It's the problem with black look so good till it gets brushed up against and they show up the slightest of marks, could be solved by polishing and a good wax, there's one called swissvax shield designed for 4x4's but I think it more towards dirt than hardness |

LR paint is renowned for being very very soft. Get a good polish which has a filler in it ...try Auto Glym Super Resin Polish and see if that helps it...I think it will....le us know what happens. Once it masks the scratches. Two coats of Collys will keep it looking good...... |

ChrisP - thanks but I can't blame them, we went over it with a fine toothcomb when it arrived & highlighted the one scratch on it & slight mark on an alloy, caused by the straps on transportation. Dealer sorting out no quibbles. Still don't know where they have come from though.

Steve just a last minute thought, if they are sorting out the marks they made, the fine scratches you are talking about, will take 10 mins to get out with a polisher. Ask them to do it and bung them a score....job done |

Cheers, have asked them to look at them whilst it's there, so fingers crossed. I'm keen to try & get something on that will give it a bit of protection. Will look out for the Collys & have a go at it.
