If you go for the MY08 update, you get satnav standard, and premium leather - plus some other features. Given the way prices are holding up though, it is still an expensive proposition. I was looking for a TDV8 originally, but they were all $80k +. when you can get a MY10 TDV6 for a bit more ( all difference when on lease), I was willing to part with the dosh to get the peace of mind of warranty. The new TDV6 is almost as powerful as the old TDV8, and having driven both, I was happy to go down the v6 path. I must say though the V8 sounds better and does have a little more shove. 2011 TDV6 Luxury - Baltic Blue, Ebony with Contrast Stitch, RSE, Stormers, Towpack. |

Agree TDV8's are still holding a premium, why not try for a MY10+ model in the TDv6. Do not expect the humph in terms of pull away, but quick enough, and with the satisfaction of a longer warranty

Just be aware that there's an issue with the Dynamic Response system where there is an incurable knock occurs after some time, that Land Rover cannot fix. This is a well known problem and there is no solution in sight. 1999 Discovery II V8 auto |
