Land Rover Experience : All Cars Parked up

Went round to my friends place a few days ago, and here are the pictures of the LR experience centre.
All the cars away for the night.

Bit boring really but at least it shows what cars they have

If I'm not mistaken that's the one at Coniston cold, judging by the big rock at the back. I'm off there myself a week on Thursday for a half day in a RRS.
I'm thinking of taking my eldest son (who is 4.5), as I think he'll love going down all the steep bits. Hopefully there will be some mud and water too after the last few days of rain. He already loves the car because it can go through all the ice and snow, wait until he gets an eyeful of what it can really do Very Happy

Yeah youre correct ! ! IT is coniston cold.
You will have a great time there as it is quite muddy at the moment.
Id think again about taking youre little boy, you may want to check if there are any age restrictions. I wouldnt want my little man in the car if im pushing the car to its limits. . . Imagine SWMBO might not be too impressed !!!

I did ask them about age/height limits. They said they were very pleased to have him along as long as I brought my car seat for him. The more he's nearly falling out of the seat the more he'll love it. I'm not taking the little one though (2.5). He'd probably enjoy it but I'm not risking him deciding he's had enough half way around and having a fit.
The wife was coming along, but we drove past it last weekend on the way back from the Dales, and she took one look at the steep track right next to the road and quickly changed her mind !

I went a few years ago to Eastnor Castle near Ross on Wye
Excellent half day and shows what the RRSport is really capable of
Would recommend Thumbs Up

Is it just me or do the facelifted Freelanders look like a fish?

If you compare the old front end and the new front end of the Freelanders in the picture, the new one looks like a fish. It does to me anyway.

I must agree, lets face it, Land Rover use Eastner Castle for their prototype testing, also worth a go is the Experience centre at Lode Lane. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

I think the new revised front end of the Freeloader looks stunning, especially in white. Very Happy

Without sounding like Gerry McGovernator, its very premium Whistle L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

RRS S/C factory built HST - Gone

45 others have been and gone!

Yes you are correct they use the venue for testing, hence the reason as I was driving the RRSport off road I spotted the LRX Concept car being tested which has now become the Evoque, that was 2 years ago!! Thumbs Up

Maybe one day I will come clean about my work experience, however it would most likely get me barred from the Forum, plus loads of hate mail. Whistle Whistle In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
