What a joke!!!!!. £500 for a service. My old RS4 was only £240 at a dealer and thats a 4.2 V8, 420BHP. I know your car holds the value better if you get it served from a dealer but is it really worth it. My local garage will servce my car for £180.00. So i save £320 a year. Say you keep your car for 4 years, total saving £1280.

Is it really going be worth less money if you trade it in for a new one in 4 years time?. Maybe by £500 but it depends on how well you haggle when you buy your next car too how much you lose.

£500 is a joke. LR should hold it head in shame! RRS TDV8, 22 rims, Privacy Glass, Premuim ICE plus Leather, Sun Roof, Stornoway Grey.

Must admit the cost of servicing by Landrover does seem to of risen sharply over the years.

Servicng costs used to be very reasonable in comaprison to other makes, but now top dollar.

Mind you suppose it is a "premium service" now so you must be getting so much more

Just had my first service a few weeks ago, it was £375 inc vat! MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG

Not bad for a oil and filter change as thats all they do ! SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Although SA models sold with a 5 year / 100000km care plan, I have a copy of the 24000km / 12 months service invoice, which, presumably, is claimed back by dealer from JLRSA.

While I'm not kidding myself, I paid for this in the local selling price of the vehicle, it seems that, based on your prices, even the dealerships get screwed over when undertaking care plan work.

Why would you want to do that on a 12 month old motor? i got quoted something like £500 when i enquired because you have to do it twice and its about £25 per litre

Today I went to Lookers Park Royal (LPR) for the first year service - as usual fantastic reception, David was clear and professional (thanks for that) and James, who got me a discount! Although there was no promised red carpet, apparently it went for cleaning , I left the place happy. Nice one! Thank you!
