I think I would stick to son of a gun spray for it opposed to the brake oil me thinks |

Be careful when removing the panel, as it has a tendency to deform and when reinstalled can then leave a gap between the screen and the softer edge of the plastic. Mine was damaged by the windscreen installer and had to be replaced due to the way the trim tool was used to detach the clips. Charlesrmh |

I have just improved the look of mine with Autoglym Bodyshop Plastic and Rubber Cleaner 07 B it now looks much better, this also works well on the black trim either side of the windscreen and the mirror covers. |
