How to remove a stuck CD/DVD in RRS

Can someone please tell me how do I remove a stuck CD/DVD from my RRS CD player? I believe my granddaughter inserted a DVD by mistake into the CD player and now it won't eject. Are there any tricks to get the player to eject it?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me. Regards
Robin L

Have you tried to disconnect the vehicle battery for a minimum of two minutes and then reconnect it to reset the IHU?

This has helped before. Wink Malaysia Boleh!

Thanks for your message and suggestion.
Doing this will it have a detrimental effect on any other electrical items stored in the car? Regards

Thanks for your suggestion, but it won't load any other CD and it won't eject the offending one either. Any more thoughts? Regards
