2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
2007 Specs - what would you like to see added/ removed

OK, we all seem to agree that a decently located clock would be useful in all versions of the Sport. What kit do you feel is missing from the spec of your car that you think should be standard and what do you think could be removed as you can live without it?

Add - more storage cubbies/ especially in the boot, similar to the FFrRR would
be OK
In this day and age ALL cars should come with a mobile phone cradle or
PTI as standard

Change - the location of the clock to somewhere where everybody can see it
the rear hatch - I hardly ever lift the upper section
the location of the electric seat controls to somewhere where they can
be operated with the door closed!

Remove - cannot think of anything on an SE that needs removing! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

1/ Courtesy light in the rear passenger compartment..
2/ Tasmod sills for every RRS out of the factory.
3/ Get rid of that Horn signal if a door is open/left ajar.. it scares the Censored out of you when you are walking away from the car, replace with something a bit more subtle and doesn't make everyone look round at you if you do it in public!

Thats all i can think of right now..

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Chawton White

Add:
- Some type of power assist for the rear liftgate. The way we are slamming it now is very "unrangerover-like".
- Better PTI Bluetooth integration (allow phonebook downloads, a' la Lexus), and/or come up with cradles for phones NOT built in the 90's. Wink
- Power tilt/telescoping steering, tied to seats memory.
- Power folding external mirrors for your US customers.
- More courtesy lights in rear passenger and trunk/boot compartments
- Real iPod integration, not just a generic AUX input
- Locking fuel filler door

Change:
- Move all power window switches back exactly 2"
- Allow driver to automatically mute navigation voice while on a call through PTI
- Make navigation voice volume fixed like the PTI system, not variable
- Premium audio system, the current Logic7 doesn't cut it - for its price
- Key. Something that fits in my trousers' front pocket without making me look like an unemployed porn actor. Better yet, "keyless go"
- Bigger and better coat hangers out back

Delete:
- The friggin' "I Agree" nag screen from nav system. I'll gladly sign a liability release when I buy the car instead
- Front PDC sensors. Annoying as heck and useless

umbertob, if you really hate the Front PDC... your friendly service department can disable them in test book. I find them useful in many scenarios, personally... but less than the rear.

Don't forget AUX/DVD volume offset control.

Nah, I don't hate front PDC that bad. Very Happy Let's just say that if they took it away tomorrow I would not miss it one bit. I wish they had spent the money somewhere else... The rear ones are a different story.

United Arab Emirates 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

as I said before we hope to see new color for new year...bigger supercharged
to push it for 400 hp plus..ACC-Adaptive Cruise Control with switch between
normal cruise and adaptive, push bottom start switch, less technical issues, like vibration, faulty messages and air suspension faults
I hope to have it with fully aluminum body for less weight similar to first old land-rover and current Jaguar

Umberto/Grommet I am surprised that the fuel filler flap on US spec cars doesn't lock, my humble SE's flap locks with the central locking, no key needed. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
