Recommendations for replacement pads & discs

Had the dreaded 'Check brake pads' warning on this morning and looks like both front and rear discs and pads have pretty much had it - 40K in so cant complain.

Any recommendations where I can get the parts from as a mate has a garage where we can both do the work and save a few quid on labour?

Its 2007 TDV8.
