More off road video action "SS Triton vs The puddle of

http://www.youtube.com/jamieOGilmore

Have just uploaded another quick clip of some recent shenanigans in the Watagans.

One of our friends in his Mitsu Triton decided to run a large mud hole that he'd been through 6 months earlier without checking the depth only to discover that it had been badly dug out and was now almost a foot deeper.

He had his 4 month old baby, two year old son and wife on board and I don't think any of them were too impressed when the cabin started filling with water.

What was worse was having to strip down and get up to my neck in muddy water to attach the recovery gear.

Enjoy!

I definitely shouldn't have laughed out loud when he yelled out to tell us the cabin was filling with water. Karma sucks when it comes back at you like that. Whistle 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

What height were you running in the mud ruts - I assume offroad and either another 30 or 50mm from LLAMs.

Have you been running lots of extended heights or just the standard heights and only using LLams when needed?

Nice vids - you should put them up on AULRO as well.

Hi Garry,

Have only just fitted the LLams last week so all the vids you see on the channel so far are running in either off-road or extended mode (which has often been triggered in many of the off-road tracks we tackle)

I have put the odd post on Aulro in the past and will get around to posting a link to this one as well shortly.

Thanks for the heads up 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

They will love your vids over on AULRO. The redneck yobbo forums such as Overlander and 4x4 Action are different though (I think you already have experience with them) - if you do not drive a Yota or Patrol you do not exist - yet your vids show a good balance of makes.

Who takes your videos?

You're right about the Overlander site mate.

Copped a pizzling there for one of the vids I posted although it was compounded by my overly promo-like description which may have oversold it just a tad.

After a little reasoning I did end up with an apology from a couple of the punters who may have been similarly overenthusiastic with their replies Wink

Was a bit surprised initially as from the editorial of the mag, I wouldn't have picked it as such a bogan audience.

My wife is actually the primary videographer and does a great job for someone with absolutely zero experience.

There's some great footage in the vid of the Lost City of her getting covered head to toe in mud from one of our crew getting a little too excited going through the large puddle in front of her. Very funny stuff. Lucky she has such a great sense of humour! 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

Some of the bogan typess who inhabit those forums at work

These Patrol and Toyota bogans fit the stereotypes - however all I circulate with are great.

Jimmy excellent & thanks for sharing.

Some of the others did seem to struggle a lot more than you - noticed one had a lot of steering input but was just crabbing along in theruts.
