2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Rear Knocking not ARB Bushes

Hello

My 55 2.7 HSE Sport has now covered 50k miles and developed an annoying knocking sound from the rear when driving over pot holes etc. I have searched the forum and checked the ARB Bushes, Exhaust ane even the spare wheel. I took it to a local garage and the mechanics there were just as confused. They suggested something to do with the air suspension but couldn't confirm anything. Would anybody have any ideas before the knocing drives me mad? Many thanks. Mike

Hi Mike,what does the knock sound like,ie is it a metal on metal knock,does it get better/disapear as your speed increases?

When my 05 D3 developed a knock it was the bush spacers not the actual bushes that had worn. RRS gone

Just an update. Garage has now got to the bottom of the knocking and found it to be rear drop links. They are replacing the ARB Bushes as well but fingers crossed problem will be solved. Picking car up tomorow and will report back. Thanks, Mike.
