Detailing my Autobiography

Got my Autobiography detailed yesterday at www.finerdetails.co.uk in Rochdale near Manchester.....

Only £200 for a new car detail and have arranged a top up every 6 weeks for £100.

Car came out looking like new (even though it is only 5 days old Laughing )

Callipers are not finished yet, they only have one coat of red on and they look dull.....going back in 1st june to finish them properly, 4 coats of paint and 3 coats of lacquer............

I will get close ups when this is complete Thumbs Up

Foxy - cheers, love the wheels, scared of kerbing them though so glad I have the surround cameras, they are brilliant!!!

I think Porsche yellow would look great on your car, get them done then get some Brembo decals on them in black, that would look Cool

Looking good jonny, and at a decent price too Thumbs Up
How about gold calipers foxy, just an idea of what gold would look like against the colour similar to your car.

I'd never connected the WR1 blue and the Siberian Silver, very similar.

Ady - gold callipers may work on a scooby but not an RRS imo

AWD - get yourself on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/

bound to find one there......

I have decided there are no decent mobile valeters round here.....they're in too much of a rush so Im just going to get it jet washed weekly and have the £100 detail touch up every 6 weeks

My plan was just to jet wash it myself in between its 6 weekly detail cycle......so I took it to tesco before, jet washed it, and drove away thinking brilliant! This is my new plan, 5 minutes, £2, I'll do this every few days......I got back to office 2 miles away and my the time the car dried it was still filthy!

So I bit the bullet and took it to the local hand car wash, the best of a bad bunch.....and it is fine, nice and clean, they seem to take more care with a decent car.

£7 and it looks spotless
Thumbs Up
