Planking - Operative word being 'plank'. I can't say I have much sympathy for the young lad. I feel sorry for his family who have to pick up the pieces (quite literally) but why would you lie on a balcony railing knowing full well that it's not exactly safe Fair enough, they can plank to their hearts content on a dining table where the worst that can happen is a bruised arm, but not a balcony railing. Is it just me that finds this utterly ridiculous? Sorry, must be grumpy old man syndrome catching up with me.
