That was the same on my 1967 Morris Minor, if i opened the boot while the car was locked then put the keys in the open boot and shut it, DOH locked out, not rocket science don't put keys in a locked car,lol |

It might not be rocket science but when you get to my age not much is,keep leaving my keyless go key in the car and can't work out why it won't lock. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I agree but that only works if all 4 doors are unlocked,I had locked the doors(don't know why) and was sat in the boot taking my wellies off, left the key in the boot and shut the tailgate which immediately locked itself. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

keyless cars , the doors lock automatically and car shuts down, but if you have not pressed the door to lock it and go to open the car with out the key fob the alarm will go. So basically you can not leave car open unless you leave the key in side the car, in which case you can not lock it any way! Confused? SVR 2018 in Santorini Black. |
