Switzerland 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Bluetooth upgrade to LR4 standard

As per a couple of Wiggs threads in the disco site, today I tried my luck at the bluetooth upgrade to LR4 standard.

Quickly done and very easy

Improvements so farç

- better sound quality
- 1000 names instead of 300(previously I could only get to letter "G" in the phonebook, now I get all)
- multiple numbers per name(mobile, home, etc.)
- Displays operator name
- displays reception signal level
- does not "steals" calls, phone connects only when you turn the key (and not unlocking the car), it disconnects immediately when you remove the key.

Great upgrade I'd say '08 RRS TDV8

Replaced the original Bluetooth module with one from a D4.

Have a look here:

Note that in the RRS(or Disco) you do not get the info on the nav screen, only on the radio screen and on the small LCD on the instrument binnacle. '08 RRS TDV8

No, sorry, I'm travelling, In Montreal at the moment and wont be back home before end of next week.

Check with Wiggs on the Disco site, he will be able to help you out, he might even be able to get one for you. '08 RRS TDV8
