2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
Hi im new, could use some help (i have already tried search)

Hi

my question is after trawling this forum for many months now, i have finally got y range rover sport its an 07 Range Rover Sport S. Now am i the only person in the world to have ever bought and S as i dont see many of them. But i was desperate for a RRS and this one had great mileage, good price and absaloutley mint condition.

my question is i have noticed there is no AUX socket in the back i have checked nothing there, so my question is what solutions are out there any one know i have seen some of these interfaces that plug into the back of the stereo and you use hear the music when through selecting the changer option on the stereo.

has anyone fitted one of these any help would be much appreciated. Thumbs Up

Hey Bambam congrats on the car. I think youre best option is to get an after market product for your ipod if thats what youre trying to play. I dont know much about the S.
Feel free to post your pictures of the car !

yea i know its the most basic one but i couldnt wait any longer to find a decent HSE around me so i had to just have this one when i saw it. just becuase it was exceptionally low mileage and imaculate and very reasonably priced 24000 miles on the clock for an 07 which i didnt think was to bad.

Hi BamBam, I too have an S and it has been perfect, only thing you might miss is Bi-Xenons (I bought a pair brand new from ebay and fitted them) also the Sat Nav - but I have portable one that I can use in any vehicle which is great. I sure you will love driving it, can I ask how much you paid for yours?

yea i mean i love the car its exactly what i want. all i asked the dealer to look for was a black range rover sport with black interior and silver inlays no wood interior and he was able to find this one so i took it. couldnt be happier.

About the xenons yes i will miss them are you saying i can just buy some range rover sport headlights that have xenons and they will fit is this what you did or did you buy a HID kit??

Hi Bam Bam
I fitted genuine Land Rover Lamp units and sold the old ones on ebay so it only cost about £60 to change, I think the HID Kits are to be avoided. Sorry to ask again how much did you pay for your Sport..?

ok cool think i will look into doing that, i take it that the auto leveling feature works aswell in the new units, i paid 26,995 for her which i spose i could have got a HSE for that but not with the mileage and not as quick as i wanted the car.

I think it is nice to have a low mileage car, if you bought an HSE with those miles you would have paid way more money.. My healights self level perfectly, these had corner lamps which we tried to get working but the ECU on the S spec had locked them out, never mind bit of a gimmic anyway.. enjoy the car, I sure you will.
