Ahh, didn't know that, I knew the D3 (being 200kgs heavier than the sport) needed the stronger alloy.

I am trying to investigate whether or not my wheels are fake................ I thought the genuine wheels had the "Overfinch" on one spoke? Mine do not, but neither does this one............. Is there a definiative answer or is it just random wheels with or without the writing? |

Hi Ady These look like replicas to me?? Apologies if I'm wrong but our wheels don't have that lip on the edge and the centrecap looks too small? Where's this pic taken just out of interest? Thanks Jordan |

Hi there The early run of Supersport wheels did not have OVERFINCH stamped on one of the spokes, this was introduced later to differentiate the genuine wheels from the copies. If you send images of your wheels to jordan.sloane@overfinch.com I can usually tell whether they are counterfeit or not. Thanks Jordan |

That's definitely genuine as the spokes go right to the edge of the rim and Overfinch is engraved on the spoke. |

Jordan, the wheels i had on my old sport wasn't genuine which i found out later when i fit my winter wheels, the Overfinch replica's where fitted to my motor when i bought it from a so called L/R specialist who told me at the time that they were genuine overfinch wheels As the L/R brand was new to me and its extras i had no reason to dispute or even check the fact weather they were genuine or not. Either way they were good strong copies that stood upto the job with no cracks occurring.
