Why is it that most RRS I see is Black? Is the silver version worth less with the same spec and mileage?

I do like the black colour, but it must be a pain to keep clean, the silver ones do look good but not as mean looking as the black versions.

I currently looking at 2 different Range Rover Sports HSE 2.7 TDv6

Thats an easy one to answer The Black RRS not only is IMHO a better colour, has done less miles and has a sunroof, so a better resale value  BLACK RRS HST 3.6 MY08

Silver def worth less.....most popular colours are Black, then Stornoway grey....

Your right on the cleaning, the black is a pain to keep clean but once a little effort is applied you cannot IMO beat a shiny waxed black colour, until the following day when you have to clean it again.  --------------------------

Definitly black ! Although I'm on my first non dark colour and its amazing doesn't take half as much cleaning. But id go black as i really miss not having a sun roof

Black was a very popular colour and therefore was in demand - apprantely white is now starting to replacing black as the popular colour along with silver/grey.

Personally i would never have a black car again - they show up every scratch, dent etc going - i think you can scratch a black land rover 6ft away from anything!! Mike

2014 Facelift Discovery

I've got a silver one (so I'm not biased)

But, black is a SOB to keep looking clean.

Also, I'm all for nice wheels, but I found the 22" ruined the ride, so I went with 20" stormers.

Get the silver one, stand out fromthe crowd and pocket the left over £ for some nice 20" wheels or a damn good detail to keep your new car looking nice.

I had the choice of identical cars - one black - one silver.

I don't know why, but the black just looked more menacing.

So black it was. SDV6 HSE Sport2 - Santorini Black, Ebony Interior, Pano Roof, Things I haven't found yet!

TDV6 HSE, Java Black, Black Premium Leather, Privacy, LR Side Steps, Smoked Side Repeaters, SC Vents and lots of toys!

White!  2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I had a choice, dealer had both black & grey. I put them side by side and took the grey I think it looks classy  Cheers Laurence.
