Hi new here and am going to buy a rrs. Never had one before so no nothing about them.

I have 20k to spend looking at the models what the difference from se to hse?

Is there anything i should look out for when going to buy?

Any common problems i should look out for?

Do you get a towbar as standard?

What figures mpg 2.7diesel should i expect?

if fuel economy is a question then the diesels will be preferable - there are two for the older models a 2.7L V6 and a 3.6L V8. The V8 is the better engine but drinks more and will cost more second hand, the V6 is certainly capable and will be more efficient and cheaper second hand.

HSE has a lot of toys as standard things like a fridge, bluetooth, adaptive cruise control, dynamic response, heated&memory seats etc the list is long and essentially the S version has less, I can't tell you exactly what.

Lots of 'common' problems but then I had a 57 plate for 2.5 years trouble-free. A 'common' issue is knocking front suspension, another one is wonky air suspension. Then you get the usual electrical gremlins of a modern car. ============

Please could you elaborate on what problems I am likely to find on these early cars?
