Hi members wanted a bit info on cambelt change on my rrs hse 2007 got 98 k on
And coming up to cambelt change as I've been told ?? Is this correct millage also been told servicing every 12000 miles ??
This is my first rrs and are really happy with the car just need get use to the servicing and what needs doing and when also what common things need doing and what are more likey to need replacing ???

Yes, it is due at 105,000 and I was quoted at 785.00 for the major belt change but them my engine blew so LR put a new one in at there cost,

Sorry if you search on the forum there are full service schedules available for normal driving mileage to excessive mileage

That doesn't sound too good wi engine blowing what was reason for that ?
And how relieable are the rrs and what mileage are they good for ??

cambelt change is very straightforward...I did mine myself saved loads of money..only tools I needed to buy was camshaft locking pins and tool to remove viscous fan. have a look on disco3 website for thread on replacement

the tools i have are up for hire if needed
