I've had stupid girlfriends and whilst sometimes entertaining it becomes tiresome after a while........

one example.....whilst snowboarding, you have your little piste maps in your pockets and every now and again there is a big bill board style map on the mountain with a "you are here" arrow.....

"why don't they put those on the little maps as well, would be helpful"

Shocked Shocked Shocked

never mind i've upgraded now Very Happy

Whatever you do don't upgrade to Wife 1.0

Many men upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 with the idea that Wife 1.0 is merely a Utilities & Entertainment program.

This is a serious misconception.

Although Wife 1.0 includes many Utilities and Entertainment functions, Wife 1.0 is actually an entire Operating System. It has been designed to run everything.

Warning! Do not try to: un-install, delete, or purge the program from the system once installed. Trying to un-install Wife 1.0 can be disastrous, resulting in the loss of valuable system resources.

You can not go back to Girlfriend 7.0. Wife 1.0 is not designed to do this.

Many have tried "workarounds". These only complicate the situation.

For example, some have tried to install Girlfriend 2.0 or Wife 2.0 and found the problems persist.

Others, in an ill conceived attempt, have tried to run Girlfriend 2.0 in the background while Wife 1.0 is running. This almost always results in serious system conflicts, possibly leading to a non-recoverable system crash. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I saw a programme once with a bloke walking round with a map with all the countries names removed and asking random americans to point to Iraq, Australia, England, France etc......you wouldn't believe how the vast majority were geographically stupid (probably just stupid all together), they seemed to have a real "who cares if it doesn't affect me" sort of attitude as most americans never leave the country.....

granted stupid people may have been targeted for comic effect but 1 or 2 couldn't point out America!!!

To further support my theory that most Americans are a bit dim.....see here Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

I am not sure Johnny, you lot did select the Blair / Brown team and things in t'UK aren't that good.

I think that stupidity and general dumbness is fairly international. I spend lots of time in the US and don't notice more dumbness per capita than I did when I was in the UK a couple of years ago.

probably true......I think stupidity in America is a bit more regionalised though, stupid people in the UK are scattered evenly (with the exception of the higher concentration in Essex)......in the US they tend to have stupid areas Laughing

Ady, I said select not elect.

You DID elect Blair, he came with Brown as Chancellor, it was during the Blair PM and Brown Chancellor period that your economy became rooted. By the time that Brown inherited the PM's job, things were already stuffed and the GFC just made it worse.

Johnny, Essex, probably. Dorset as well maybe? Last time I went there, i couldn't understand a word anyone said. Other regional accents don't seem so unintelligable.
