Quick Detail - how to use it??

Just got some QD but bit reluctant to use it with out first washing the car!!

I've been told and it says it can be used with out first washing off the loose dirt/dust??

Has anybody actually been brave enough to do this on their P&J?? Cheers Laurence.

Yes....it's fine, just make sure the car isn't too dirty...light dust is fine, spray on, wipe off, that's it

I use it quite a lot but would never use it on a dirty car without washing it first. It's all too easy to get swirl marks. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Definitely... It's really designed to revitalise an existing finish rather than clean the car.. Clean it first, dry it, then use the QD and buff off with a new clean micro fibre cloth.. It takes about 5 mins to do the whole of the RRS and is well worth it as it makes the wax last longer and the car's much easier to clean each time..

If in this weather, you washed the car yesterday, I would rapid detail it today and not wash it again.....

Agree.. If it's just a little dust, that's fine but I think the OP thought he could use it instead of washing a dirty car.. And the micro fibre should be at least rinsed through afterwards and not re-used each day to prevent swirls..
