Thermostat replacement

Does anyone know how to replace the thermostat on the rrs 4.4 v8.

I'm having coolent issues the engine isn't overheating and there seems to be an airlock or a problem with the thermostat

what issues are you having with the thermostat.

its just that my 3.0 diesel takes sometimes up to 4 miles before its warmed up.
even in these milder conditions with having now.

out of interest . if anyone actually notices this kind of data, what distance are you covering before the engine
thermo meets its halfway point ?

RRS temp gauge won't move up to optimal driving temp, just stay cold and will eventually move up a little bit when warm, but just below with blue(cold) line. Heater stays cold.
