2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Baltic Blue

6 Days to go, so bloody excited

Hi All,

Firstly thanks to all for a great forum, it helped me a great deal when researching my new car purchase. The banter has provided a fair bit of amusement as well.

After ordering in December 2010, my new car has arrived and I am picking it up next Wednesday.....

Car is a 2011 RR Sport TDV6 Luxury (HSE in UK). Baltic Blue with Ebony Leather (Contrast Stitch). Only option I put in was Rear Seat Entertainment, and swapped the Standard 20inch Wheels to 20 Inch Stormers.

I must admit some of the comments on reliability have me worried. I currently drive a VW R36 Wagon, and have had zero problems in 3 years, so am concerned about the RRS being off the road - though I do take it all with a pinch of salt given people are more likely to complain than compliment their cars online.

Anyway I have full 5 year factory warranty from LandRover Australia, so fingers crossed.

I am really looking forward to a smoother riding car, the R36 had a really firm set up, which started to get old after 3 years.

After I get 15% tints on the car I will post up some photos.

You will love it. I got mine 8 weeks ago and it is the best car I have had even with the couple of issues that I have experienced.
How did you get a 5 year warranty? Now :3.0 TDV6, Stornoway grey, Premium Almond leather,Dynamic Pack , Paddle shifters, Rear Electronic Diff, Surround Camera System, Park Distance Control - Front, Tow Pack, 19 x 9" 5 V-Spoke wheels, Memory Pack, Cold Climate Pack, Carpet Mat Set, Roof rails, general Grabber ATs,

Ordered, due May 17 SDV6 Dynamic Loire Blue, Ivory, Drive Pro pack, Sliding roof, Heated seats and steering wheel, Surround cameras, Tow pack with Advanced Tow Assist, Meridian 825w sound,

I got the car via novated lease, and the deal included 3 year free servicing and 5 year factory warranty. Apparently you can buy the extension, but as part of the corporate deal it was thrown in.

The corporate program through LR is pretty good, they gave me a RRS for a week to trial, and decent discounts on the car.

I am super excited now, cannot wait for delivery.

I went with Ebony with Contrast Stitch, though I think the Ivory would have looked better - I just couldnt bear the thought of the kids on white leather, along with the issues I have read about blue jeans even staining the leather. 2011 TDV6 Luxury - Baltic Blue, Ebony with Contrast Stitch, RSE, Stormers, Towpack.
