No 3.6 in a FFRR to try Tim, aero really does not come that much into play at low speeds its 40MPH + but before it really starts to tell and with the Torque of the V8 doubt it would be any diff. 2014 5.0SC AB

That's pretty impressive... and shows it's half a second or so swifter than the RRS 3.0... however, your vbox thing would not have captured the 1.5 seconds the TDV8 takes to move off the line from a standing start Sport mode aside, I find my 3.0 is in fact noticeably more spritely in Dynamic Mode. Sharper throttle response. Should be worth an extra 0.1 secs to 60 L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone! |

Quick questioin - what makes you wait longer to use sport? Ive struggled to keep it under 3k rpm below 600mile (didnt on a few occasions) - my wife thinks im being stupid - not that ive managed it everytime, now i had got to nearly 1000miles i thought i was "in the clear" despite still having a tight engine, do i need to keep worrying myself. No it is fine 1000 miles and it is ready to go as a rule , i have just never seen the use in hammering one until i think it is ready and required , engines do not really loosen up until about 6000 miles IMO and get even better at 12K on the ones i have had. Petrol you just rip them at 1000 miles anyway , never really understood why it is that Diesels take so much longer to really loosen up. 2014 5.0SC AB
