United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Richard,
I know they upped the top speed by 5mph and presumed, but perhaps I'm wrong, that the remap increased the performance in other respects, perhaps they just raised the limiter?
Still only 0.2 sec slower to 60mph than the V8 and I guess most of that is lost at the top end as it takes off quicker which is generally more important to me at roundabouts to save embarrassments. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

I only had a long term loan TDV8 and 4.2/5.0SC short term loans...but i have to say, the TDV6 doesnt make me want a TDV8...i think its just as good.

Yes i would love the 5.0SC, but not the fuel etc...so for me the TDV6 is currently the more than good enough Mike

Mike, there was an article in the press over the weekend about an Asda that accidentally moved the decimal point on their self service pumps....... 60 or so customers managed to fill up their tanks for 12.9p per ltr!!! That would make 5.0 ownership more acceptable!

James Thumbs Up

Have a 3.0 MY11 SDV6 engine at the moment in a new Disco and to be honest it is not a patch on the 2010 TDV8 that i have in the RRS and saves just 2-3 MPG at best round town and no diff on a run. The 3.0 also sounds tractor like compared to the TDV8. 2014 5.0SC AB

Gone 5.0 SC

Apparently the and i had to check on LR's website, the sport is a little quicker than the disco...dont know if its because the disco is a brick, heavier or a different tune...but the specs do show a difference!
