I finally decided the works I wanted done, here is part one of the new look;

I cleaned, polished and waxed the RRS last weekend now we are hitting some nicer spells of weather.
Although I knew the wheels were kerbed to , I didnt realise how bad they were and how much of an affect it was having on the overall look of the RRS. So I had them powder coated for £40 a wheel in metalic graphite gloss and I absalutely love them! What a transformation. I have now booked in to have the windows tinted next week and just ordered the side steps. Let me know your thoughts...dont be thinking the wheels are brown though, they are graphite coloured but the sunset made them look a bit brownish.

Paulo/Chris, very happy with the results and as you said, for little outgoings, the only hassle was being without the RRS for 4 days. It will look even better by next weekend!

Nice but Dim - I use autoglym super resin polish and dodo juice wax, the light has made them look a touch brown/bronze, I have one more pic to put on which shows them as grey plus more pics next weekend once tints and steps are fitted. 2014 RRS

Centre caps

Lol - Was wondering how long it was going to take for someone to ask
They have to be 'wet painted' not powder coated so they weren't ready to pick up when I collected the wheels. Get em this week and have new centre decalls for em too.

Why dont you just buy some more caps I think they only are 3GBP each from the LR dealer. Would finish it off alot better. Plus theyll have them in stock ! 

They would need painting too to match the wheels and therefore the decals would either need to be masked or removed so for the sake of £6 for new decals as the elements had damaged mine and the powder coaters already had the centre caps with the wheels and probably already painted by now it is job done.

Martin - Great looking wheels. Love the graphite look -and I bet it doesn't show up the muck as much as before

same colour wheels as on my java black, they look excellent, and also saves on colour coding handles and vents as they match the wheels

Looks great, the side steps and especially tints will be the icing on the cake
