21mpg is pretty good for the 4.4 - there are diesels that will do that if driven hard. For your comparison, my TDV6 has 12000 miles on the clock and is averaging about 26mpg.

Had a run up to midlands at weekend and averaged 31mpg at 70mph with 1200 miles on clock. Brill TDV6 - gone

Peter you will see much better as the engine loosens up. Remember a diesel is only just run-in at 50,000 miles so there are a few to go yet!

Only 2400 miles on the clock and I am getting 26ish to the gallon. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Not sure what is going up with my SC these days but I am up to 14.2mpg these days. I find that pretty impressive considering last month I would of been happy to be at 12 |
