Can someone please explain to me what clay bars do and what they are as google is telling me strange and graphic things ! ![]() |

It removes contaminates from the paintwork to make it smooth as glass. It may look clean but once you use the clay bar you'll be amazed at how much crap comes off. I don't think you'll need to do it to yours for a good 6-8 months probably. |

Just dont do it at all! Buy a high quality sealant perhaps Collinite and prevent any contaminants getting there in the first place. |

All Im doing now on my car is jst using the two bucket method with poorboys shampoo and nothing else. It seems to be really shiny and the dirt just slides off the paintwork. Still getting the water beading when its wet. I am starting to think that i have Car based OCD I am thinking about washing it now as its "dirty" |
