Picked up new rrs 2011 last week got it home to discover the wing doesnt line up with the door,wrong carpet mats and second hand boot liner(ordered new one).Took it in today to change mats,liner and get the wing checked out.I was tild has to go back in to body shop to be adjusted or new wing to be fitted.Cant under stand how this passed a pdi check?.What are land rover customer services like to deal with?.I need to let off steam to someone.

Are you sure it's not been in an accident and repaired
Don't know where you live, but there was a whole transporter full of RRS's that crashed just over a week ago I'd be asking the dealer to confirm the car has not had a prang pre delivery to you  2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

If its letting off steam you desire to do youre best off phoning Morphy Richards: Broken steamer department helpline. Although depends which dealer you purchased it from?

Also take a look around the forum theres some posts on what the PDI Actually entails.

The transporter was Northbound near Carlisle and was week 2 in February if that helps. There are hi res pictures on the web if you look around.

As for Land Rover customer care they will promise the earth then when it gets down to the nitty gritty they will pull back and say sorry you have to go to your dealer your contract is with them blah blah
Land Rover own QC inspection at the factory is dire on RRS IMO.

Mats and load liner had a new load liner arrive for mine from the factory wrapped up in bubble wrap ( with sticker transport seals on the folds ) opened at the dealer looked like it had done 20,000 miles in a demo .

Name and shame though on the dealer should be in order if they have allowed mats and load liner like that on a new car.

As for body shop on a new car if the dealer confirms in writing that they have had no body work carried out on the car then it is Land Rover and i would reject the car. 2014 5.0SC AB
