I have a brand new convertible M3 (in white Cool )coming tomorrow (for my mum) and the standard wheels off it (with tyres) are for sale due to competition pack wheels being fitted on delivery.

Anyone interested? If not anyone any idea what I should fliing them on ebay for? I presume they are 18", they are whatever is standard on new M3.

Standards are 18', the 19' are upgrades I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

my Dad has decided my mum should keep them as spares for the time being to make sure these new wheels run right.

They have put the competition pack wheels on the M3 convertible when they are only supposed to go on the M3 coupe by rights.....

I expect they will be for sale again in a few weeks.......I shall keep you posted!
Thumbs Up

Fine stable of cars in your house mate....am still looking at my new car purchase in addition to the Z4 - maybe a RRS again, or an M3 Convertible, but Maser GT seems to be the logical choice.

Panamera was going to be the one, but other than the Turbo, values on other models drop quicker than anything else...so as much as I love it, it's at the back of the queue...

I would have never agreed with a Panemera turbo....but after driving it and seeing it in the flesh on the Porsche day it is awesome, inside and out, looks miles better with the spoiler up.

Yes got some good cars to borrow of mum and dad when they go on hols now, considering Im currently driving a BMW 318 I may need to soon! Laughing

They do live an hour and a half away though Big Cry

The CSL wheels look great....I would keep these wheels on them

I see so many white cars these days, and especially out here in Dubai - most of the RRS here are white...I saw a Koenessig (or however you spell it) and a 40 something woman got out of it....

Same I guess with hotter parts of the US too....California and Florida, lots of white cars....

Please God, do not buy a Maserati!

I only kept mine 10 months, lost 23 grand, but skipped out of the dealer into my M5 with a smile on my face and waved that lump of crap goodbye!

Jed, good point...but I am buying pre-owned, at about 55K, but anything else wrong with it? I had one for a short while when they first came out.....but it was on a short lease. What was reliability like for you in the 10 months? Ever need to call roadside assist? Did they always go right back to service centre? Guys on callout who did my Bentley said, that breakdown were never allowed to touch Ferrari or Masers and had to go right back....

It was in the garage for eight weeks out of the first twelve!

I was on first name terms with the Mondial Breakdown man!

They have a nice 'error' light in the centre of the dash if you recall, the manual says if this light ever comes on, stop immediately. I used to be known for erratic stoping at any time, any place!

The alloys rusted after 4 months, the headlight seals perished, the handbrake came off in my hand outside the dealer when I was picking it up from it's 20th visit, and the sills leaked so bad I got trench foot when it rained.

It's only redeeming feature was the exhaust note! Bliss!

No, I've had a string of dead reliable BM's and Mercs since then.

I just thought I needed a little bit more excitement and uncertainty in my driving! Laughing
