No, you can't set it to auto but you can select to lower whilst the vehicle is slowing down and it will be in access height when you stop.

When approaching your parking place press the suspension height 'lower' button on the centre console next to terrain response control. The vehicle will then lower to access height as you complete your parking |

I agree I've been doing this ever since I've owned mine - try not to take your eyes off the road while doing it or off your mirrors if your parking I've had a few near misses fiddling about pressing buttons!! Cheers Laurence. |

If you read the manual it also says that it isn't recommended to lower the car when it has already stopped - best done with the car rolling along to avoid damage to the suspension units by lowering the car when it is stopped 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Sorry Tim, but I beg to differ. I found this passage in the manual... Note: Access height may be selected up to 40 seconds after the ignition is switched off, if the driver's door has not been opened within this time. Self explanatory, I would suppose.
