One (or more) of the sensors may have packed up. There is a way to check them, It'll need a mate to sit in the car with it in reverse and handbrake off, then you need to work round the sensors listening for clicking, no clicking means broken or bad connection.

Apparently there is a common fault with the wiring loom as it passes through the bumpers. Mines awaiting a new loom and Guy Salmon pulling their bloody finger out! FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Ah ok then this explains why mine are temperamental...so this is what they call 'character', and all part of the ownership experience right? |

My parking sensors packed up 2 weeks after having a new rear bumper fitted. Took it back to Lancaster in Reading as insurance job and they admitted that the bodyshop they outsourced the work to had snagged my wiring loom putting the new bumper on. fixed FOC with apologies. Faith restored that there are honest dealers out there. Got a free valet out of it too. |

My front sensors are not working, I shall check them all later for this 'clicking noise'. I am not getting a fault/flashing from the switch though...could it be that they are all working but the sounder is not?

No clIcking from any of the front four sensors, all four on the back are clicking.
